Add a shared secret without turning the clip owner-only
Unlisted links are convenient but forwardable. Password protection adds a second piece of information the viewer must provide, which is useful for a small client review, internal demonstration, or support handoff where a shared secret is appropriate.
The uploader still needs verified ownership to manage the visibility and password. Password-protected clips remain excluded from search indexing and use generic metadata for unauthorized requests, reducing accidental disclosure through previews and page source.
