Spend the upload on the moment, not the source
A long recording often contains setup, waiting, repeated takes, or everything after the useful moment. Uploading that entire file first costs time and bandwidth before the real clip has even been chosen.
Save Replay reverses that order: preview locally, set the boundaries, and prepare the selected range as an MP4. If the browser cannot safely prepare it, the app reports the limitation instead of silently uploading the original file.

Is the complete original sent to Save Replay?
No. In the current flow the original remains on your device; Save Replay receives the segment prepared from the selected range.
What if my browser cannot prepare the clip?
Save Replay stops and explains the browser limitation. It does not fall back to uploading the full source without telling you.
Does a shorter duration always mean the same file-size saving?
No. Output size also depends on bitrate, resolution, frame complexity, audio, and encoding. Compare the actual source and prepared sizes.
Is Save Replay a full video editor?
No. It deliberately focuses on selecting a start and end so you can share one useful moment without a complex editing project.
